Group Home Assistant Home Manager Schedule:
This is a Full Time Afternoon position with a mixture of a few Day shifts in between.
The candidate would be responsible to work every other weekend.
Summary:
This position is responsible for the assigned home, its clients, and the staff in the manager's absence.
The Assistant Home Manager will provide support to their Home Manager in all facets of the home's operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Act as temporary manager in home manager's absence Supervise staff in manager's absence Provide training, orientations, and scheduling assistance Follow, administer, and/or supervise the clients person center plan Handle any Licensing issues and/or audits as needed Maintain established guidelines for home while on duty as shift supervisor or home manager Must have interpersonal skills to positively motivate staff Effectively communicate with staff, doctors, and other professionals that contact the home Assist Home Manager in overall operations of the home Demonstrate a professional attitude and act as a role model for staff POSITION REQUIREMENTS Strong commitment to providing quality client care Must pass Physical/TB tests Must be able to complete and pass FBI Fingerprint Check, CPR, First Aid, Recipient Rights, and Universal Precautions within first 30 days of employment Complete required Direct Care Worker training defined by the State of Michigan within 6 months of employment Other duties as assigned Must have a valid Driver's License Job Type:
