Military technicians, employed at the Army National Guard Aviation Facilities, Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD), are militarily assigned to the table of distribution and allowances (TDA) for that organization. Personnel, employed at the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), Army Aviation Flight Activity (AAFA), and Army Aviation Operating Facility (AAOF), are militarily assigned to compatible positions in any aviation unit that full-time support members are employed to support. Grade inversion within the full time workforce in not permitted. The military grade must not exceed that of the supervisor. This position is located in an Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) or Army Aviation Flight Activity (AAFA) with responsibility for the performance of the full range of aircraft maintenance duties including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and ground testing of assemblies, systems and surfaces for one or more types of military aircraft, fixed and rotary wing.

General Experience:
Your Resume must list some experience in each of these areas:
Experience or training that has provided the candidate with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components, and to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications. Must be skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
WG-10 - Must have 18 months of the following experience or traininginstalling, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification. Experience coordinating the work of other mechanics, and scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow. Must have the ability to instruct lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, and fuel controls sufficient for the exhibit to be returned to its shipping container.

Ability to perform inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft to include phase inspection, daily inspections, pre and post flight inspections and such special inspections as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
